Avant Garde Type Posters
During Typography II, we had to choose type fonts to make posters from based on research we did on how the font was made. I chose Avant Garde and I made two posters to represent the font and the magazine that it was named after.
Design Process
Below is my design process. I took inspiration from Avant Garde magazine’s layout, their use of typography and imagery, the font itself and the story of the font’s origins.
